Isa 58:10-14 | NASB2020 | STEP | And if you offer yourself to the hungry And satisfy the need of the afflicted , Then your light will rise in darkness , And your gloom will become like midday .

Isaiah 58:10-14

10 And if you ^aoffer yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the ^{▼▼Or soul}need of the afflicted,
Then your ^clight will rise in darkness,
And your gloom will become like midday.
11 “And the ^dLord will continually guide you,
And ^esatisfy your ^{▼▼Or soul}desire in scorched places,
And ^ggive strength to your bones;
And you will be like a ^hwatered garden,
And like a ⁱspring of water whose waters do not ^{▼▼Or deceive}fail.
12 “Those from among you will ^krebuild the ancient ruins;
You will ^lraise up the age-old foundations;
And you will be called the repairer of the ^mbreach,
The restorer of the ^{▼▼Lit paths}streets in which to dwell.

Keeping the Sabbath

13 “If, because of the Sabbath, you ^orestrain your foot
From doing as you wish on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a ^ppleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable,
And honor it, desisting from your ^qown ways,
From seeking your own pleasure
And ^rspeaking your own word,
14 Then you will take ^sdelight in the Lord,
And I will make you ride ^ton the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
For the ^umouth of the Lord has spoken.”
